Michelangelo - A Truly Artistic Finish
April 19, 2005
Margaritelli Group Italia makers of Listone Giordano are renowned for their support of the art world and their dedication to cultural and artistic events. One of their recent endeavours was the official sponsorship of a travelling bibliographical exhibit of the famous artist Michelangelo, a collection of more than 60 works including drawings, drafts and rare documents from the Archive of Ente Casa Buonarroti in Florence.
In tribute to the famed artist, Margaritelli used the Michelangelo name for its special oil based finish. The Michelagelo finish is a special treatment based on vegetable oils, highlighting the natural beauty and authenticity of the hardwood flooring. The Michelangelo finish is available on Listone Giordano Plank 140 and Plank 190 products and can be seen on display in our main showroom at 920 Yonge Street.
The oil finish is available in 5 colours from very light to very dark. When applied to the French Oak wood, the Michelangelo oil stain results in a mat finish with a rustic, traditional appeal. The flooring also has a slightly textured surface enhancing its rustic elegant feel.
